Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Buttercream frostings like this one are a perfect match for Strawberry Cake or Carob Cake. Simply omit the frosting in the original recipe and replace it with this vanilla version, if you like.

Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Method
Using an electric mixer, cream butter in a mixing bowl until fluffy.
Add milk and vanilla extract and blend completely.
